Update

Well, I’ve done 5 of the things on my list from the previous post.

However, if eating a piece of pecan pie and 2 cupcakes would have been on that list, 2 more things would have been accomplished.

Ooh! I did manage to clean out my mother’s purse. And if you knew my mother, you would know how long that took. :)

Today

Here are my goals for the day. I will check back later with the progress:

Laundry
Clean clutter
Clean out car
Clean the office
Clean the 2nd bedroom
Go to G-pa’s house/help Aunt Kathy
Refill pill-minder
Take trash out and put can to curb
Take recyclables to car
Bathe Lucy/trim her nails

It’s already 2:30pm, wish me luck!

Blah.

I think I’ve hit Stage Four.

Come out tonight and we’ll all try and help you get to 5.

OMG, I didn’t see this til now! (almost 1am) Boo. But I have to say Thank you!

Ladies and gents, I have only met this guy once, and he is truly just a nice, awesome person. Thanks go to you, and @elizabite. You guys are the shit!

Blah.

I think I’ve hit Stage Four.

Today was difficult.

Today was difficult.

OMG.

Me: “One of my mom’s students accidentally wrote ‘Rest in Peach’ on her Facebook page, and that makes me laugh”

@belgianthings: “So instead of RIP, it’s PIT?”

I cannot heart this enough, I LOVE my friends. Hilarious!

Looking about how I feel.
Tired and disheveled.

I know this feeling all too well. So I hope you get to relax soon!

Why is it that I can always come up with the right words to say when they’re not needed, but have such a hard time talking about my own mother?
So who wants to write this for me? (If she were here…she would)

Goodnight Mommy.

For my wonderful mother, I love you.

I really do apologize for being so blunt, but I just can’t avoid it.
GPOYW: I’m sitting in the ICU waiting room. My mother, the woman who raised me and taught me so many moral values, is about to die.
I know that I’m biased, but it’s hard not to believe that she is the most caring, wonderful, and nicest person known to man. She always has had an open mind about religion and politics, and would always help out anybody who needed it.
I am not a religious person, but dear God, please help her get through this. Please.
